The Asbestos Training Pledge

ACAD are joining with other training organisations to support HSE’s asbestos training pledge initiative.
ACAD are offering free Asbestos Awareness courses that will provide UKATA certified asbestos awareness training in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.
The normal cost of each asbestos awareness course would be £55.00 plus VAT, however from the 5th October to the 25th November 2011 ACAD will offer 20 free places per courses. Approximatly 20 tradesmen die each week from asbestos related disease. Overall we aim to achieve at least 4000 hours of free training in recognition of the current asbestos death rate of over 4000.
Dates of free asbestos awareness training to be delivered by ACAD are:
28th October 2011 - Darlington
25th November 2011 - Darlington
Courses will commence at 8.30 and end at 12.30. Courses are limited and must be requested by completing and submitting a booking form to ACAD (Do not send to HSE).
