Contact us today to arrange your ACAD Site Audit
As part of the criteria for membership of ACAD, all Full Members must meet with the requirements of its audit scheme.
The scheme requires each Full Member to be independently audited at least twice each year or twelve month period. There are various ways that you, as a member can comply with this requirement:
1. If you are currently independently audited as part of your quality system, these can be sent to ACAD to be reviewed and entered onto our database.
2. If you are currently independently audited during assessment for insurance purposes, these audits can also be submitted to ACAD for assessment.
3. If you currently do not have any arrangements in place for independent auditing, ACAD can arrange for this to be carried out on your behalf at a competitive rate.
As it become frequently more common for clients to seek evidence of auditing as proof that your company has robust management systems in place before considering placing an order for work, now is the time to identify and correct any potential problems with your company's performance on site. The best way to achieve this is by independent auditing. ACAD have helped many of its members, both large and small recover from serious problems after visits from the HSE have found faults on site.
Many of the issues raised by the HSE could have been easily rectified by management if they had been identified by an independent audit, avoiding the often costly penalties subsequently imposed upon them.
As this is now a mandatory requirement for Full Membership of ACAD, we will require you to take action to meet the audit scheme criteria.
Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the Association.
