FESI (Federation Europeenne Des Syndicats D’entreprises D’isolation)

European Insulation contractors Association

TICA represent the United Kingdom on FESI (website www.fesi.eu) working with 16 other European Counties in the endeavour to form common standards for specifications in materials, methods of application and training within the industry of commercial and industrial insulation.

We meet bi annually, with members hosting the meeting in different countries. Every two years an apprentice ‘skills' championship is held giving the winner of the UK skills championship the opportunity to compete and meet other young people from other FESI member countries

The following are the arrangements for the forthcoming meetings:

FESI: Autumn meeting 2007, Stockholm, Sweden. On the 4-5th October.

FESI; Spring meeting 2008; Nassau, Bahamas. USA. On the 7-10th May,. (This is held in conjunction with WIACO 2008 in cooperation with the Insulation Association of America NIA) see the WIACO 2008 website http://www.insulation.org/convention/08/

FESI: Autumn Spring 2008; Copenhagen, Denmark. On the 4-5th September, including Apprentice Championships.

FESI: Spring meeting 2009; Rotterdam, Holland. On the 10-12th June.
