IETA Training
The apprenticeship in Thermal Insulation is a three year course which involves the learner working on site for the majority of the time. The learner will attend TICA Training college in two week blocks, approx four times a year.
During the course the learner will complete the following:
- NVQ Level 2 in Thermal Insulation
- Certificate in Thermal Insulation Level 2
- Key Skill in Communication
- Key Skill in Application of Number
- Key Skill in Information Communication Technology
- Employers Rights and Responsibilites
Normally the apprentice will complete the Framework with the first 18 months of the course. He/She will then spend the remainder of the time working on site gaining experience.
Upon completion of the above criteria the apprentice will be issued with their Apprentice Agreement which shows they are a qualified Thermal Insulation Engineer.
